The JLC LIVE show is an bi-annual residential construction conference hosted by the Journal of Light Construction magazine. At the show, there are a number of nationally recognized speakers, and an exhibit hall which hosts over 200 manufacturers from the construction industry.
Feet on the Street
I will be stepping away from the computer this weekend to attend the biggest construction convention of the year in New England. I am especially excited because there will be Gary Katz, from the Katz Roadshow, who will be doing an advanced seminar on Sketchup, along with Joe Stoddard who will be doing an introductory Sketchup Seminar. I hope I can spend a little time with them and see if they can share some advise on how people can get started with Sketchup.
I will also be talking to people from CADsoft and ChiefArchitect, both 3D design software companies that specialize in making software for construction. They both feature a certain degree of compatibility with Sketchup, so I’ll be interested in exploring that with them.
